Coke Oven Park -

Coke Oven field is used for baseball practices and games. Adult teams also practice and play here when needed.

Southside Pool is closed for repair.


Fowler Park - 302 Birmingham Avenue

Fowler Park consists of two baseball fields and an outdoor basketball court. All baseball games for 9-12 year old boys are played here. Concession stand is on site. The park was named in honor of James Fowler, a former parks director, and a Jr. High School coach for many years in the Jasper City Schools. Fowler Park is located close to the Jasper Mall and several restaurants.

Frisco Park - 410 28 th Street East

Frisco Gym is open to the public. Hours of operation are as follows:

  • Sunday - closed
  • Monday - 12 pm - 8 pm
  • Tuesday - 12 pm - 8 m
  • Wednesday -10am - 6 pm
  • Thursday - 12 pm - 8 pm
  • Friday - 1 pm - 8 pm
  • Saturday - 12 pm - 6 pm

Gamble Park - Gamble Avenue

Gamble Park is conveniently located near the Walker College Campus of Bevill State Community College on Gamble Avenue. The park consists of a walking track, beautiful birdhouses, a playground and a creek, which runs down the middle of the park. Picnic benches and tables are scattered throughout the park. Perfect for anyone looking for a nice, quiet walk or picnic.
