Where: Gamble Park (located on Gamble Avenue near Bevill State Community College)
Registration Begins: 8:00 AM
Race Starts: 9:00 AM

Whether you're an avid runner or prefer a leisurely walk on the scenic trail, there's a place for everyone at the Hometown Heroes 5K. This is more than just a race—it's a chance to come together as a community, a time where law enforcement, first responders, and citizens can stand side by side and work together for a great cause.

Not a Runner? Join the "Hero’s Stroll"! If running isn't your thing, we've got you covered. The Hero’s Stroll is our 1-mile fun walk designed for those who want to participate at their own pace, because in the effort to support the children in our area, everyone is a Hero!. It's a great way to enjoy the day, support a great cause, and still be part of the action.

Registration is $25 for adults and $10 for children, and proceeds will benefit the Children’s Advocacy Center in Jasper, which helps to provide safety, support, and hope to children in need.

Every registered participant will receive a swag bag with a free T-shirt! Bring your friends and family for a meaningful morning that celebrates service and the power of giving back.

If you can't join the run but still want to be involved, you're welcome to walk the trail or simply support by making a donation. Donations can be made by calling the number listed on the event flyer.

Let's come together as a community and show our support for the children of Walker County.
