Bids to be opened at 11:00 A.M. on December 29, 2025
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Jasper, Alabama, at Purchasing Agent’s office in Jasper, Alabama, until the above time and date, and then opened as soon thereafter as practicable.
SCOPE, PART 1: GENERAL:
The Jasper Parks and Recreation Department is exploring the development of a new mountain bike park on 150 acres northwest of Walker County Lake. Location is at the corner of Charles Bishop Industrial Drive and Industrial Parkway for maximum visibility and community engagement. The site features gentle rolling hills ideal for a stacked loop trail system and supporting amenities.
- Parcel No: Land located at 64 17 06 23 4 000 001.000
- Parking Lot: Planned at 33.81028, -87.23551 for convenient trail access. The parking lot will be gravel. If the bidder desires to bid on the parking lot it must be bid separately from the trails.
Blueprint Trails has designed a seven-loop stacked trail system (3.5 miles) to serve riders of all skill levels. All trails and amenities are designed to modern sustainable trail-building standards with natural surfaces.

Green Beginner & family-friendly loops
Blue Intermediate trails for developing riders
Black Optional advanced features for experienced riders
Skills Park and Pump Track: Will be located at the corner of Charles Bishop Industrial Drive and Industrial Parkway for maximum visibility and community engagement. These are not to be included in this bid but will be Phase Two of this project.
All trail work shall comply with the following specifications and is subject to review, direction, and final approval by the City of Jasper and Blueprint Trails.

If you are unable to furnish an item as specified and desire to offer a substitute, give full description of the item. No errors will be corrected after bids are opened. No prices shall include State or Federal Excise Taxes. Tax exemption certificates furnished upon request. City reserves the right to accept or reject all bids or any portion thereof.
