January 11, 2024 - Retail Update: The purchase of the former Kmart property at the Jasper Mall was recently finalized, and as a result, the city has paid the initial economic incentive to Rural King. The contract between Rural King and the City of Jasper is in place, which calls for Rural King to be operational in the third quarter of 2024. Expect work to begin at the site soon!
