On September 14 the Jasper City Council approved an event permit for VFW Post 4850 to have a Veterans Day parade. The parade will take place this Saturday, with a start time of 10:00 am, and will require temporary road closures to accommodate this event. Roadblocks will be on 19th Street at the old Jasper High School parking lot and 6th Avenue, 18th Street at 7th Avenue, and 2nd and 3rd Avenues from 18th Street to 20th Street as displayed below. Please be aware of these temporary closures on Saturday morning, travel safely, and enjoy the parade!
