Conveniently located near the Walker College Campus of Bevill State Community College on Gamble Avenue, it consists of a walking track, a playground, and a creek, which runs down the middle of the park. Picnic benches and tables are scattered throughout the park. Perfect for anyone looking for a nice, quiet walk or picnic. The park was renovated to preserve wetland areas with funding from the State of Alabama. Thanks to the contribution of Dr. Jerald Sherer, a cardio trail was added as an optional branch of the walking trail. In 2022, the Jasper City Council approved nearly $1 million in funding to improve parks throughout the community. As part of this investment, Gamble Park received a brand-new playground in early 2023, replacing the previous equipment with modern, updated play features designed for children and families to enjoy.
