May 30, 2025 - With the assistance of a Cawaco RC&D grant, the installation of sod at A.P. Howell Park is complete! This beautification project provides a safe play area and will help manage erosion around the playground, splash pad, and entry to the pickleball and basketball courts. Thank you to Councilmember Jenny Brown Short and Aquatics Director/Natatorium Manager Stacy Smothers for their assistance in applying for this grant!
A.P. Howell Park is another Jasper park that has been completely renovated for the use and enjoyment of our residents. The park offers a range of outdoor activities, including a softball field, playground, pickleball courts, basketball courts, and splash pad. It is located at 300 25th Street West. Park hours are 4:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The splash pad is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Check it out!
