July 1, 2025 - At today’s Jasper City Council meeting, Mayor Cowen presented Sam Watts and Willie Moore III with their Certificate of Election for District Three and District Five, respectively. They both ran unopposed and will start the new term, with their elected counterparts, on November 3, 2025. Sam Watts will serve his first term as Councilmember for District Three and Councilmember Willie Moore III will serve his third consecutive term as Councilmember for District Five.
