November 2, 2023 - In 2015, the City of Jasper partnered with Schneider Electric to implement a city-wide energy efficiency project. Over the next 20 years, the project will generate over $3.6 million in savings to reduce utility and operational costs by 26%. Renovations were made to 16 sites within the city, including 13 buildings and 3 parks.
With the help of Schneider Electric, the City of Jasper has saved 3,046,750 kWh and MCF which is a 2,155-ton reduction in CO2 emissions to date wrapping Year 4 of the project. Due to this partnership, Jasper is able to be a greener, more energy-efficient city.
