June 13, 2023 - Coaches and players from Jasper Parks and Recreation 12U Jasper Strikers softball team attended this morning’s council meeting. (Some players could not attend this morning's meeting due to school practice.) Coach Daphne McCain announced that the Strikers recently won the 2023 championship at the Alabama Recreation & Parks Association (ARPA) state tournament. Their next stop is the USA Rec Softball World Series in Foley later this month. Congratulations on your championship and best of luck at the World Series!
